Reviews

...For something so short, and narrated with such simplicity, Between The City And The Sea carries a tremendous amount of atmosphere and seems to have a good deal to say, and says it with poise and poignancy. ...
Fiona Ferguson, Aesthetica Magazine

...Mesmeric and thoughtful this was one of the most beautiful short sent in. Actually one of the most beautiful I've seen and a must for anyone who's been in love recently...
Ben Blaine, Shoot-Out

Between The City And The Sea could even be a PJ Harvey video it's so damn cool...
Another Ben, Shoot-Out Tour

...original and innovative...
John Barlow, Southampton Institute

...a film with a unique look and presentation. It was enigmatic, beautiful and haunting. It is a triumph of the art of Film-making without vast technical resources. The titled narrative alone would make an excellent poem, I really loved this film, and wished it was longer and told more...
